Trainee Executive - Plan Compliance

  • Responsibilities & Context

    • Serve as a resource to the company for matters related to US Qualified Retirement Plan processing, coverage and non-discrimination compliance, reconciliation, and governmental reporting. Use knowledge and experience to serve as a resource to internal associates.

    • Understand and analyze eligibility requirements, plan design options, and compliance requirements based on plan design.

    • Evaluate employee census data to determine if data requirements have been satisfied based on different plan designs, features, and client requests.

    • Process annual coverage and non-discrimination compliance testing including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, deductibility tests.

    • Calculate employer contributions such as employer match or profit-sharing (non-elective) contributions.

    • Prepare and review Form 5500-EZ or 5500-SF and coordinate with plan sponsor or client service representative to complete filing.

    • Prepare and review Form 8955-SSA.

    • Provides timely and effective verbal and written communications in a clear, concise, and informative manner assists clients in meeting IRS and Department of Labor deadlines applicable to US qualified retirement plans.

    • Collaborate with other teams (internal or external) to coordinate activities

    • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by the company to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to the company or our clients.

Trainee Executive - Assisted Payroll

Deadline: June 21, 2024

  • Responsibilities & Context

    • Serve as a resource to the company for matters related to Retirement Plan Recordkeeping, plan Administration Payroll file process & other related Client communication. Use experience and knowledge to serve as a resource to internal associates.

    • Responsible to extract payroll info from the provider's report, manipulate and upload to Recordkeeping System.

    • Understand and perform 401k plan compliance testing, Tax calculation, Audit Reconciliation.

    • QC DVC files before uploading it to the system to ensure accuracy.

    • Responsible to work on SSN correction and census upload to the retirement plan.

    • Responsible to prepare instruction procedure for new client's payroll files.

    • Responsible to check and count assigned plans' payroll file on daily basis.

    • Following up with the clients if the scheduled files are not provided in time.

    • Responsible to make sure all client payroll files are maintained and saved in the appropriate location directory at server.

    • Responsible to work on the quarterly statement and any other projects assigned by supervisor.
