Our History
A new start is associated with new challenges as well as opportunities. FinSource Limited, a registered private limited company in Bangladesh, inaugurated its operation back in August 2019 under the leadership of Mr. Morsheduzzaman Sumon. The company started the valorous journey with only eight employees under the Compliance and the Software department. At the end of 2019, Plan Document and Operations departments were added to its fleet. The company has massively been enchanting with exponential growth since its inception. Currently, the company has eight sole and independent departments operating their duties and responsibilities based on the collaboration and joint coordination among these departments. These departments are Compliance & Plan Administration Service, Recordkeeping Operations, Plan Document, Conversion and Deconversion, Client Service, Assisted Payroll, Wealth Management, and Software Development. Each of the departments is an integral part of the company contained and employed with over 100 employees as a whole. It is the very first company that provides Retirement Saving Plans along with advisory support in Wealth Management in the best possible way. Over the past 3 years, FinSource Ltd. has made core investments into Retirement Plans and Wealth Management services, for instance - plan setup, plan creation, reconciliation, distribution, contribution, asset allocation, in-house software development, advisory support, and so on.
2019 - The Beginning
A new start is associated with new opportunities as well as challenges. Overcoming all obstacles FinSource started with only 8 Employees back in July 2019 with the Compliance and Software Development Team. At the end of 2019, Plan Document and Operations departments were added to its fleet. Thus we continue to turn every challenge into bigger opportunities.
2020 - FinSource Growth During COVID-19
COVID-19 started impacting global workplaces at the beginning of 2020. FinSource shifted to Work from Home. Initially, it seemed hard to continue but later we discovered the power of team play. Each and every department worked unitedly and dedicatedly to contribute to the success of the company. As a result, we ended up adding more departments; Conversion, Client Service and Assisted Payroll in 2020.
2021 - EdgeCo Era Begins
The impact of COVID-19 continued in 2021 as well. But that could not stop FinSource to flourish. The company headed towards a new journey under the Leadership of EdgeCo Holdings. We were excited to learn and adopt new policies and changes. In consequence, opportunities continue to visit us and lead us to the path of growth.
2022 - A New Milestone Achieved
Since the beginning of 2022, FinSource experienced robust growth and achieved a new milestone of 100 employees. We celebrated the success and this made us more committed to our job, to our company. To continue the success story, the Wealth Management department started its operation at FinSource in mid-2022. Through this department, FinSource started to provide advisory support to the sponsors.
